Review of Kissa's Hemp Fitted

I recently got my Kissa's Hemp Fitted in the mail.  I needed something to help my heavy wetter through the night. I am pleased to say that we made it through the night with no crying for a diaper change and no wet pj's!

The diaper has a couple of snaps to adjust width, and a snap in front to pull the diaper under the umbilical cord stump if your baby still has one. Mine does not. It also has a hemp insert that snaps in and folds down in the front to soak up extra moisture.

I started out by prepping it. I put it through the wash with our three loads of clothes, then our load of towels, and finally with our diapers. I put it through the dryer with my other inserts. I will admit that my method may have been lazy, but at least it conserved energy and water! Some people dry after every wash when they prep, but I didn't want this diaper to shrink too much, so I only dried it once.

I purchased the newborn size for my 12 lb, two month old and it fits great with a Softbums Mini Pod inside to help keep the moisture off of his skin.

I read that a lot of people use this under their Thirsties covers. But I found this to be a snug fit under my Thirsties size 1.  I prefer to use it with my Best Bottom or Flip Cover.

CB in his Flip.  Plenty of room for that bulky hemp fitted!
Overall, I would absolutely recommend the Kissas Hemp Fitted for night time, although it's probably overkill for day time. I would add a microfiber insert to wick the moisture away from baby and use a one-size cover so there's more room for this bulky system.
